McQuaid Jesuit Basketball has battled through a difficult schedule this winter, facing some of New York State's top teams. But with the Section V tournament just two weeks away, the Knights have been building momentum, winning their last three contests.
The win streak started with a dominant victory over the Aquinas Little Irish (73-49), and was followed up the next day when the Knights faced School of the Arts.
Isaiah Mead-Jackson, '27 buried five 3-pointers, propelling the Knights over the Silver Hawks.
This past Tuesday (2/10) , McQuaid celebrated senior night prior to the game against Wilson. With all three seniors in the starting lineup,
Nick Fallat,
Andrew Gerenski, and
Gianni Hahn, led the Black & Gold to a commanding victory, taking down the Wildcats 71-54.
McQuaid has just two games remaining before postseason play; hosting Bishop Ludden on Saturday (2/14) before traveling to Padilla next week.
