The McQuaid Jesuit basketball Knights bounced back into the win column with a strong road performance Friday night (1/16), earning a 56-43 rivalry victory over the Aquinas Institute.
Coming off a tough loss to East after a three-game winning streak, the Knights refocused against the Lil Irish and set the tone early. McQuaid controlled the tempo on both ends of the floor and maintained their composure throughout the night to secure the win.
Jeremiah Myers '29 led the Knights with 14 points, while fellow freshman
CJ Nicholson followed closely with 13.
Andrew Gerenski '26 and
Nick Fallat '26 each added nine points to round out a balanced scoring effort.
The win marked McQuaid's fifth of the season and lifted the Knights to 5-7 overall, providing a strong response following Tuesday's setback. McQuaid will look to carry that momentum back on the road Saturday (1/24) for a 3:00 p.m. matchup with Canisius in what promises to be a high-energy contest against the Crusaders.
