McQuaid Hockey earned a hard fought rivalry win over Aquinas, continuing its strong stretch of play with a fourth straight victory.

Eoghan Maier, '26 set the tone early, scoring twice in the first period to give the Knights a 2-0 lead. Aquinas responded in the second, netting three goals to swing the momentum, but McQuaid answered late in the period when Jayce Rodger, '27 scored the equalizer to make it 3-3 heading into the third.

The Knights regained control midway through the final period as Noah Bernard, '26 finished a scoring chance to put McQuaid back in front. With the pressure mounting late, Maier delivered again, converting a penalty shot with just over a minute remaining to complete his hat trick and extend the lead. Matt Napieralski, '27 sealed the deal with an empty net goal in the closing moments.

Israel Johnson, '27 was strong in goal throughout the night, making key saves to keep McQuaid steady after Aquinas' second period surge. The win marks McQuaid's fourth in a row and is a statement result in a heated rivalry matchup.
