Jon Covney '06

Coach Covney has more than 15 years of coaching experience, including 10 years with the McQuaid Crew program. A founding member of McQuaid Crew, Covney made program history by earning the school’s first rowing medal in 2003. In addition to his time at McQuaid, he spent five years coaching with Pittsford Varsity Crew, one year with Ithaca College, and currently serves as a coach for the crew team at St. John Fisher University. His passion for the sport and commitment to developing student-athletes continue to strengthen rowing programs throughout the Rochester community.
